The Zacosta at Xenofontos 23 is tucked away in the northwest section of the Medieval City, just off Ippodamou street and opposite the Hamsa Bei Mosque. It is a short walk from Socratous street, the Knights Castle, and the many museums, restaurants and stores in the Old Town.
Here are instructions to assist you in getting to the Zacosta, depending on your mode of arrival. If you are arriving from:
Diagoras International Airport:
The easiest way to get to the Zacosta from the airport is via taxi. There is a taxi rank right outside the Arrivals Area where you will always find a taxi. The ride takes approximately 20-25 minutes and costs 25 euros. Have the driver drop you off at Amboise Gate (See Map). When you get into the taxi have the driver call us at +302241033450 or +306972004868 and we will be there to meet you with our electric courtesy vehicle to assist with luggage and directions. Should you wish to have a taxi wait for you at the airport the cost of this is 30 euros which is paid directly to the driver. Let us know a day before your arrival so that we can make the arrangements.
From here the Dodekanisos Seaways Catamarans arrive and depart to the various islands. It is a short walk from the Zacosta but with luggage it becomes difficult. Contact us a few days prior to your arrival so that we can make arrangements to pick you up with our electric courtesy vehicle.
From this port the ferries from Turkey (Marmaris, Fetihye, and Bodrum occasionally) arrive and depart. Here you will also be required to pass through customs. There is a taxi rank but they drivers will leave you at one of the Gates of the Old Town. Contact us a few days prior to your arrival so that we can make arrangements to pick you up with our electric courtesy vehicle.
From this port the large ferries from Pireaus and various other islands like Santorini, and also a few daily ferries from Symi arrive and depart. There is a taxi rank but taxis are hard to find, and the drivers will leave you at one of the Gates of the Old Town. Contact us a few days prior to your arrival so that we can make arrangements to pick you up with our electric courtesy vehicle.
Should you rent a car the best place for you to park it is along Fillelinon Street (see Map). It is between Saint Francis Church (Agios Fransiscos) and Agios Athanasios Gate. You will usually find parking and will not have to worry about parking tickets etc. If you pick up your vehicle at the airport contact us to meet you at the Gate when you first arrive to assist with luggage and directions.
